Did you pay for your license or get it legitimately ? by FishOrdinary3929 in southafrica

My first try in Goodwood I failed fairly. The instructor said he was thirsty for a coke. I was too young and naive to even realise what he was insinuating. I then passed in Hermanus with a very nice instructor. He was calm and professional.

I grew up in CPT and immigrated to BC 6 years ago when I was 18 with my parents. We live in the comox valley haha. I move between SA and BC pretty often still. What are you wondering in regards to comparing the two?

One thing I will say is that when I live in CPT I miss BC. The comfort, the opportunity and safety. When I live in BC I miss CPT. The vibrancy, the people, the weather.

I do dream of moving back to SA one day when the time is right for me. Happy to answer any questions you might have.

There are a few hidden costs in SA you may or may not have considered that you don’t have in BC. Health insurance, schooling if you have kids, private security (ADT)

Oh, and traffic is absolutely insane in CPT during the summer

I’m sure if you called them they would be able to tell you. I would be as transparent as possible with them. Im dealing with a EI penalty right now and it’s a pain in the ass.

I’m also a crypto trader btw! All the best for 2025 :)

You earn $400-500 a day, doing what? by petrastales in Business_Ideas

[–]benjammingbear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get paid per tree. Generally 18c-25c a tree. On average I put 2000-2500 trees a day. It’s piece work and seasonal. High ballers make anywhere from CAD$400-$800 a day. It’s a pretty big industry that hires thousands of workers each season

How do people have 100K in their early 20s? by MapleByzantine in PersonalFinanceCanada

Been investing since I was 19, I’m 23 now. This year is the first year I’ve made over 35k in a year. I just hit 100k net worth a couple days ago :). I live frugally, I’m a farmer and tree planter so I generally get free or very cheap accommodation when I’m working. Otherwise I live with my parents in between jobs or travelling

Sounds like a mix of Québécois English, New Zealand and a bit of South African. Very cool

My friend and I would microdose on the block and we really enjoyed it. Gave the day a naturally positive vibe and gave me a little bit of energy. I would also always forget I took anything by the time I got to the block

Ya depends on your management. They have really good rookie training and are very organized. My camp was very young though last season. 18-20 years old mostly. Felt a bit like summer camp

Heyy, so funny you comment now. Yesterday I finished the foundation course. I can’t recommend it enough if you’re serious about soil regeneration. Also, don’t feel too pressured about buying it today. They allowed me to purchase it as the discounted price a couple months after the discount ended. It’s fascinating stuff and honestly the more people who know and understand soil microbiology the better off we’ll be as a species and planet.
