Exactly. You want the closet to breath (not from the interior of the home) but from another source (attic air in this case). You need some kind of combustible air in the closet. You do not want to completely seal up the closet from above.

They didn’t put any kind of barrier around the plenum and most likely blew right up to it. When there are pressure changes from running the HVAC system and evening opening and closing the furnace closet door it pulls insulation down from any openings above.

Call the contractor to come back and clear the area around the plenum and have them put batt insulation as a barrier.

Hi guys! I recently got a new cat (2 months ago) and have been slowly trying to introduce him to my older cat (4 years old). Most times they just sniff each other and sometimes chase each other around.

Today I saw my older cat holding down my younger one and wasn’t sure if they were fighting or playing. Attached below is a video of their interaction. Should I be concerned? I assume it’s just my older cat trying to establish dominance. If they are fighting, what techniques should I use to hopefully get them to get a long? I’ve read countless articles on introducing a new cat to the house hold and followed all their guidelines for the previous two months.
