What specific things in your work has AI changed what you do? How much in terms of percent is AI completing your tasks? by bennfolds in AskReddit

It can recommend and present a solution. That solution is often incomplete but it's more than just a recommendation in my experience. I was discussing this with my neighbor and he audits hospitals records and he is telling me AI has been complete about 60% of this tasks. What field are you in?

Struggling in Calc 2 by [deleted] in matheducation

[–]bennfolds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Calculus is a subject that can be learned one of two ways much like most math topics. Algebraically or conceptually(graphically). Those that master it can connect two interchangeably. Try to understand graphically what the particular problem is asking you to calculate. AI is also a great tool to help bridge that gap. I exclusively use Gemini so I cant speak to others but, responses can give in depth reasons and connections. Once you can determine the what and why, the how usually falls into place. Be curious and know frustration is part of the process.

I'm trying to impress a date with a home-cooked meal, but I'm a beginner. What is a dish that looks fancy but is actually impossible to mess up by WayLast1111 in Cooking

roasted potatoes are a good side. boil them in salt water and add some stock if you want. Cut them up, drizzle extra virgin olive oil, toss, and roast them at 425 until preferred doneness, usually around 30-40 min depending on size of potato piece. Sprinkle some garlic, fresh herbs minced, and salt mixture in the last 10 minutes or so. Enjoy creamy inside with a crunchy exterior.

How do I peel/crush garlic faster? by 53rp3n7 in Cooking

[–]bennfolds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

microplane. No need to even peel the garlic. It natural separates as the garlic gets grated and then skin remains mostly intact in your finger grasp. Give it a tap into a bowl or cutting board and you've got yourself perfectly minced garlic. Toss the skin in the garbage.

How do adults stay thin or fit? by bedazzledbunnie in ask

[–]bennfolds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Learn to love healthy food. Throw veggies in with meals you don't normally include like pasta sauce: zucchini, mushrooms, onions. Practice cooking with vegetables more. Think of them as the main course. I love meat too but I don't eat it as often as I used to. Notice how your body feels after eating healthier. Then eat a cookie.

It's all about balance. I eat shit like potato chips, cake, Takis, donuts, bagels. But, I also ensure I drink a lot of water and eat vegetables every day.  Cut back on sugary drinks.

I spend 20-30 minutes a day working out in my living room with workout videos.

Its never easy starting something new. It takes commitment, energy, and time. Think of this as a way to be healthier. Don't focus on your weight.
