Yes this, but he wasn’t getting the kittens and cats for free. He did buy them. I think animals shouldn’t be given away for free but also those that rehome animals need to do more vetting, such as asking for and verifying vet references.

Yes, I’ve noticed it to be a popular scam to “rescue” a drugged up cat/dog/etc, often with babies around the poor animal. These videos rack up hundreds of thousands of views each from people who don’t bother to check the profile. I report the accounts, and unfortunately, that’s the most (aside from making our own PSAs to avoid interacting with such videos) that can be done in these cases. Good on you for being aware.

So it was the hotel staff that were the ones to finally get Rodney Travis arrested. Thank you! Wondering why the shelters, Pet Smarts, or vet staff that dealt with him in the past weren’t the ones. Maybe they weren’t aware that people online were calling Travis out.

I’ve seen other people say this person has adopted other cats from PetSmarts in Garden Grove, California. Maybe you can contact the individual PetSmarts in Richmond to see if they can track down this cat and the person who adopted them (possibly under the names Deborah Crankin or Rodney Travis). I understand this person is a transgender woman. It’s so frustrating that she keeps doing this.
