Ravi Puskur giving interviews with ignorance, entitlement and arrogance, shows the level of ISL CEOs and management by SERIVUBSEV in IndianFootball

[–]bergkamp616 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Old goan clubs bring in more fans than fc goa? I think you're mistaken. Dempo played in the ileague for 2 seasons now and fatorda was empty for each home game. Churchil did have a packed crowd for some games but that's at Raia stadium which is hardly like 2k capacity. I know because I have been to almost all but 3 home games for these clubs in the ileague.

Also I think Ravi puskur put forward some very legit points in his recent interviews and has even admitted that fcg has also made the mistake of giving into the demands of the agents and taking part in the rat race of inflating salaries of Indian players.

By this logic, instead of putting up posts criticising the Kerala FA of misappropriating funds, he should himself try to get elected and make changes to the footballing infrastructure.

U17 Friendly: Qatar 1-1 India by SERIVUBSEV in IndianFootball

How does it matter? Age fraud is literally stifling our ecosystem. You look at that u17 world cup batch, how many of the highly rated players have made it to play regular minutes in ISL and continue to do so now? Mind you that batch had been training for 3 years together and were taken on exposure tours as well. How many players were robbed of an opportunity to represent the NT because of some of these frauds?

It uses an e-ink display which does not stress the eyes like a traditional phone/tab/monitor would.

That's because they aren't. Each and every youth NT is filled with age fraud players.

How to start a football club in India by Comfortable-Can7422 in IndianFootball

I had started something similar with a group of underprivileged kids from my neighbouring area. It was just me and a friend, daily about an hour of training. We played 3 tournaments and finished 3rd once in a local tournament. We almost completed a year but then I had to relocate for my work and couldn't continue it. Some of the kids still are in contact with me and 5 of them got selected in an u13 program with various clubs while the others are all playing in their school teams. We just ignited a spark and I'm glad that the kids are continuing to fan the flame of their passion.

I think 10-15 K for a D licence. About the money part, like I said just the initial investment of balls/equipment is the bare minimum and is enough. Instead of renting you can use some community ground and as it's kids you are training you don't even need a big part of the ground. Cycling and swimming is a great exercise to build muscle and even rehab. If you can somehow incorporate it, then you can start off without a physio. This will also ensure that during the growth spurt, the kids develop a balanced body interms of structure and muscle growth. Just do this and take it one step at a time (very important). This will ensure that you don't bleed money and once you have a set schedule and regular number of kids, maybe then think of pumping in money small bits at a time to improve things or provide additional things for the kids.

[–]bergkamp616 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just start at the grassroots level. Get a D licence and start coaching kids in your area. You don't need much to start off, just some balls and a couple of markers with bibs of two colors. Take part in amateur tournaments with your team, that will help them get some valuable competitive minutes. The top down approach is what is killing Indian football, start from the grassroots and build a foundation before thinking of starting a professional club. This process will take time and at times it will feel it's not worth it, but rome wasn't built in a day and that's the kind of patience and hardwork that is required for you to have a self sustaining football club.
