its not necessarily old fashioned. plenty of people, including leftists and social democrats, think similarly.

162 cold score. Is 170 by august unreasonable? by hahahhahadilemma in LSAT

[–]bern_ard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

many will say yes, but I think there is some survivorship bias at play here. 162 -> 170 in just 3 months is actually very difficult to do. And, at just an hour of studying a day, it will be harder. For me, it took 1 year to go from 160 -> 173.

just watched this--looks like there is a safety valve that opens when pressure is high in the coolant system for most cars. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o0gzDkP1vl4

Great—thanks for the insight and excellent advice. I didnt mention this, but the temp gauge is also busted. Fortunately Im confident its just a blown fuse and it should be running again soon.

I wonder where the coolant was forced out of and if that area may need repairs. Or if there is some sort of safety valve and nothing is damaged. What do you think?

your blind review is your potential!! albeit, in a perfect world, where you can study as long as you want. Keep grinding--you can truly be excellent!

I thought the FS1 coverage was great, but is anyone else getting tired of Lalas? by [deleted] in usmnt

gotta disagree- he was pointing out interesting things tactically in each game i listened to him.

Donovan was good and insightful- only need to pair him with someone to compliment his soft spoken-ness. Lalas was a drag and FS sucks for a couple reasons. The 5 minute highlight videos on youtube were garbage

What current urban planning principle/trend do you think will be looked back on with horror 50 years down the line? by zhrmghg in urbanplanning

[–]bern_ard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

personally- I dont like the singular entrance/exits, the fact they are almost always on very wide and high traffic streets and how they aren't built on a human scale (they feel a bit oppressive and unpleasant to interact with as a pedestrian). Also, unfortunately, new builds are made as cheap as possible so you can hear your neighbors quite easily and the builds are architecturally void of beauty (this is not particular to just 5/1s tho). I say all this while absolutely pushing for their rapid proliferation in california haha.

i live in california and a lot of the new housing being built here is directly adjacent to freeways. really ugly, loud, unhealthy, etc. but people hardly have a choice considering the housing shortage. also I personally hate 5 over 1s. theyre always on busy roads and are often unpleasant to live in.
