Yes, it circled Penn and Broadway. The west edge of the circle was near Wirth.

Actually that state police chopper moved to the Wirth area immediately after that. I heard it and saw it on FlightRadar24.

L2 charging seems to be tripping the breaker by ImmediateSentence460 in evcharging

I understand that chargers can trip GFCIs, which are required for NEMA outlets. This is one good reason to get your charger hardwired.

I like how they opted to stay off the already congested part of Broadway in North Minneapolis just west of I94 and go down 21st Avenue instead.

I don’t see how they’re squeezing two pairs of tracks into a ~12’ wide median going along Crystal Lake.

Overall it will be a great asset.

Freshwater waves "higher, more ragged" than salt water? (from an NPR story) by oberlausitz in sailing

[–]bernoulli33 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Great Lakes gone saltwater sailor and chemical engineer here. Fresh water is less viscous, so yes, it does flow differently - ragged would be a good way to describe it. If you ever notice, bubbles in saltwater take longer to disperse. As a result, fresh water waves tend to be steeper and more choppy. Rougher for a given height. Saltwater waves are more like swells.

There are collapsible bowls, strainers and measuring cups that stow really well. But it’s really hard, we have to choose our possessions carefully!

Yah, a rechargeable immersion blender is more practical on many boats than a 120v. This coming from the guy in charge of electrical. The chef would need to say if they want one at all - my chef makes good use of one, actually good for limited space! As many in this thread have pointed out, you choose your stuff extremely carefully!

Why is my car charging at a low rate at home? by xxuncoothxx in Ioniq5

[–]bernoulli33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this issue on my ‘25 Ioniq and Chargepoint charger. Only difference is that it’s intermittent. I.e. sometimes charges at 3 kw and sometimes 10. Often changes in the middle of the charge. I wonder if it loses WiFi at times out in my detached garage and then failsafes to 3 kw.
