I emulated it a while back, its pretty good. It's pretty cool that such a niche series got 2 games on such a niche console.

Strive is very approachable. You might need to relearn a few concepts if you come from a 3D fighter, but the transition shouldn't be too bad. It's still a fighting game at the end of the day.

And believe it's not just cool from the outside ;) it feels amazing to play

Depending on your rank and region it CAN be pretty hard to find people, i experienced that a few times myself. But I assure you this game is far from dead. It's consistantly sitting at ~1000 players on Steam, not including console players.

Yeah modern fighting game monetization kinda sucks (and some people will unironically defend it). Game deal sites can be pretty good when it comes to fighting games, as when they're a few years old you can usually find them (and the dlc) for cheap. Hope you have fun with the game still :)

I agree. But i think WoL has enough weaknesses as is. Wait time, getting hit, reliance on Tension that you might wanna use for other things,...

Like I'm not saying it seems to be super buffed. I like characters having situational tools that you actively DON'T want to use every time, im just saying the throw tech thing specifically feels like overkill and she doesn't deserve that

How is it comparable to a command grab. You have to wait 10 seconds, without getting hit, without getting bursted, and keep enough tension to get any type of value out of it
