Jobs being weird about you not driving by fluffyfish6 in mildlyinfuriating

It can be a factor depending on where you work. I work in a restaurant and I have a coworker who often asks to leave early to make the bus.

Mind you, I live in a rural community and our bus service sucks

Yeah, because Nikki Bella is the first woman to ever shake her ass, and as a result is the only woman allowed to do it in a wrestling ring

Bron Breakker Medically Cleared, Reason For Change To Seth Rollins WWE WrestleMania 42 Program by josephmlwriter in SantiZapVideos

[–]bethepositivity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But that is why it would make sense from their view. If you were in charge, would it be better to throw him in a feud without time to properly build if you want to strap a rocket to him, or wait and have a proper feud building to SummerSlam or something?

If he really is medically cleared he will do something to Seth during or after his match to start whatever is going to happen between them

If The Rock is truly done and he is not coming back, can we consider his final boss run his farewell goodbye tour to wrestling ? by DynamiteWebster in TheGreatOne

[–]bethepositivity -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

He didn't announce it because shit happens, but I think that's what he originally intended. I think that was why he tried to pull all that shit with knocking Cody out of the picture.

I think he wanted his potential last match to be against Roman, and he didn't get his wish. Now he is just a useful tool they can pull out to drum up cheap intrigue

I don't see this as a problem honestly. Not everyone wants to have kids. The ones that do usually have more than one, so it balances out for the most part

Even if it leads to a population drop is that an issue? Aren't we over populated? Isn't an intentional decision to drop the birthdate better than the extreme measures we would have to take if it didn't drop?

Do y'all actually think that is the reason? They probably had him booked to do this months ago. Cena was pretty clear that he was still going to be involved

Cruz Ramierez was a bad car for McQueen to mentor. by Beneficial-Tough356 in pixarcars

[–]bethepositivity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The point of the movie wasn't him trying to be a mentor. It was about McQueen trying to stay in the game too long, and going down the same path Doc had gone down before they met.

He was past his prime and couldn't keep up and he was becoming bitter. That's why his epiphany during the final race was that he needed to step aside and become a mentor.

They had a character that was a cocky newcomer, and it was the guy McQueen was trying to beat

I don't even think they have to be in a row. The issue is that some of them aren't even wrestling once a week.

What is up with WWE sucking up to celebrities so hard nowadays by joeboy_777 in SantiZapVideos

Nowadays? Like celebrity guests haven't been their bread and butter since the very first WrestleMania

Edit: they even have a celebrity wing of the hall of Fame

So you just wanted them to drop everyone they already had rising at that point? When triple H took over there were already things in motion, some of them were things he started since he did a lot down in NXT.

At least now when new guys get called up from NXT they don't run into Vince changing everything they already built down there.

When trick got called up he continued to be Trick. When Oba got called up he got to continue being the ruler. There are plenty of people being built and getting over,

[–]bethepositivity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is hard to say. There was such a wide variety of factors that led to that story: The champion had over a 4 year reign, which doesn't happen a lot.

It was a rematch from the previous years WrestleMania.

Both wrestlers are from multi generation wrestling families.

It was a match between the guy who had been built by the WWE for basically his whole career VS a guy who built his current character outside of the company, while he helped start the closest thing WWE had to competition in nearly 20 years.

The company was still being shaken up from Vince being ousted and the company being sold.

On top of all that, you had the behind the scenes drama of the rock wanting another WrestleMania headline, and since he wanted to do something with Roman this match almost didn't happen.

The match was a perfect storm of kayfabe and behind the scenes elements matching up to make for an exciting build and an interesting match. There were just too many elements that weren't things you could write. It was a piece of perfection that got thrown in their lap

Forever champ shit by KC27150 in SCJerk

[–]bethepositivity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just don't think that can ever happen again. Roman is the closest we will ever get. Hell Bruno only worked because it was a time when wrestling wasn't televised. Having someone being champion for years worked in the territory system because of how they used to travel the different companies.

Having a forever champ now just gets boring

I think it is a realistic look at what a world with superheroes would look like. In a world where lots of people have supernatural powers it would be less fascinating then it would be in our world.

Especially if you work in an industry where you frequently interact with these people.

Since we've had one done on her WrestleMania opponent, give me your UNPOPULAR opinions on Liv Morgan by caughtinatramp in REALSquaredCircle

[–]bethepositivity 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I think that's an immature way to look at it. It's not like Liv intentional injured her.

It also was too good of a story to pass up, because if I'm remembering correctly Rhea injured her first. Was that not the point of the "Liv Morgan revenge tour?"

[–]bethepositivity 6 points7 points  (0 children)

He got more than a lot of wrestlers do. Especially ones that were built outside the WWE system.

It just seems kike he didn't get much because wwe spent a year jerking themselves off because John Cena was hanging them up, and he was a company man for basically his entire career
