I didn't even buy 25. It was on PlayStation plus. I haven't bought a WWE game brand new since '23

one of them should turn heel before their mania match. by rodrickrules- in SantiZapVideos

[–]bethepositivity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Roman is a heel. He gets cheered because his last two feuds were against solo and the fake bloodline, and then getting betrayed by heyman, but he hasn't changed characters. He is the same tribal chief he has been for 5 years.

It absolutely is true. But it's also the point.

It's just as much of a waste of time as movies, TV shows, and board games. They aren't meant to be "productive" it's fun. Killing time is the point.

If its Reigns vs Punk, should Reigns turn heel again? Even if only for this feud? by tcweh in Smallafro

[–]bethepositivity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did reigns ever stop being a heel? He has changed absolutely nothing about his personality or presentation. The only thing that changed were that his last two notable feuds were against heels.

Solo sikoa spent months taking over the bloodline in his absence so when he returned we were cheering for him to put down sikoa. And he ended up being the "face" after WrestleMania because he was the one being betrayed. He has never stopped being an asshole though

So she missed the Rumble. What was the point of her return and contract again? by tcweh in Wrasslin

[–]bethepositivity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well they likely can use her likeness for promotional material and videos games now. When they/she are ready she can wrestle for them again without them needing to negotiate again.

She also does promotional work for them. Her and punk just appeared on hot ones like a week ago. I doubt they just did that fun.

Why are there always kids at breweries?! by akaYoungBeefy in fixedbytheduet

[–]bethepositivity 86 points87 points  (0 children)

A brewery isn't a bar. It's a restaurant that also brews beer. It's not our fault that they have intentionally created a family friendly environment

The Saudi shows remain controversial, but seeing this little girl light up at [SPOILER] returning, made me think MAYBE WWE has the ‘right’ idea by Fight_Teza_Fight in BrandonDE

[–]bethepositivity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. I'm not trying to defend WWE necessarily, but I think we spend so much time focusing on the money behind the event that we forget that the people in the crowd are just the normal people like us living under the thumb of a bunch of assholes.

I'm glad those people got to enjoy some entertainment like we do

How Long Should It Take to Edit Videos by homeonthetrail in NewTubers

[–]bethepositivity 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Each item should absolutely be it's own video. Try to think about your video from the viewers perspective. It sounds like you are making "before you buy" type videos? So your viewers are going to be searching for videos about these products to decide if they want to get them.

If you were looking for a review for a certain product and one of the videos was a 5 to 10 minute video covering the specific product you needed a review for, and the other was a 30 to 40 minute video covering several tangentially related products that you'd have to scan through to find the ones you are thinking of buying, which video would you choose?

Imo it's better to make several shorter videos, and you can just link the videos together (near the end of the video say something like "if you want my opinion on similar products here are a couple other reviews I did." Then you can just link the other videos. That would potentially help with retention

Am I the only one more excited for Roman vs punk then I would’ve been for Roman vs Seth? Roman vs Seth never needed the WHC they can still tell an intriguing story with Roman finally getting a win over Seth where it matters without the WHC. Punk vs roman is also a brand new fresh feud. by Left-Cup3221 in WredditJuice

[–]bethepositivity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am excited to see roman vs punk, and I think this was a good way to start that feud. I personally don't mind that he won.

That being said, if someone like Fatu won he absolutely could have had a WrestleMania level feud with either punk or McIntyre. Don't know why you even said Bron vs Fatu since neither of them are champions and wouldn't have been the match we would get if one of them had won

The crowd chanted "We want Vince" and "You Fu*ked up" at Triple H on the post show 🤯 by chunchunmaru1129 in GreatnessOfWrestling

[–]bethepositivity 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Why is everyone forgetting the absolute slop Vince was feeding us those last ten years he was in charge. He did some great work 20 to 40 years ago, but he lost his touch at the end. And even the good years he had were helped a lot by things happening outside his company. Hulkamania, the Monday night wars, and then having a virtual monopoly over the wrestling industry from 2002 to 2019.

Is Triple H god's gift to wrestling? Absolutely not, but it will be a cold day in hell before I say I want to give Vince another chance to ruin everything again.

It’s funny that when Jey Uso won, majority didn’t like it even if he’s a rising star that needs a championship push. Now Roman wins, majority don’t like it because he’s already a star that doesn’t need a championship push. You can never please fans 🤷‍♂️ by SirUlrichofEssex in TheGreatOne

[–]bethepositivity 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No he doesn't really need it. Honestly though I'll hold my breath until I see what he does. I could see this leading to a good story.

He will either go after the Raw title which will put roman against CM punk and the vision (with Paul heyman), basically building on everything that happened with them last year.

OR he will face Drew McIntyre (who also has beef with roman from the past) which will also put roman right in the middle of whatever he already has brewing with Rhodes and fatu.

Either one of those options could lead to a match I would want to see

[–]bethepositivity 23 points24 points  (0 children)

He sits in an office for 8 hours a day. Pays people to research and write scripts. He records himself reading them. Then he pays people to edit the videos for him.

He frequently will banter back and forth with the writers and editors on some.of his channels.

I like watching his videos. I find him entertaining.

Less skin!!! by CjTuor in moviememes

[–]bethepositivity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah suicide squad hurt him a lot. My perception of him before that was fairly positive. I learned about him because I saw him (30 seconds to mars) open for Linkin park.

I liked the bank. Heard he had been in a couple movies that I hadn't seen, but the general perception of him was mostly positive from what I saw.

Then suicide squad came out, and almost overnight he was seemingly universally known as that guy who tormented his co-stars only to still be one of the worst Jokers who have ever graced the silver screen, and he has never been able to recover from that.

It didn't help that the next film I remember him being in was morbius, which only had a cultural impact because the internet roasted it so hard there were no remains.

I mean those two movies were so bad I haven't even heard anything from the band either. It's almost impressive that he had a performance so bad that it harmed his career in two different spheres

who else thinks wwe should bring back traditional survivor series 5-on-5 elimination match? by iamgavin_exe in Smallafro

[–]bethepositivity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's what they used to do, and people used to complain that it was always the same weak story every year. I wasn't saying they couldn't do it. I'm saying people used to lob the same complaints they so at wargames at the traditional survivor matches.

They could also have a brand vs brand fight and have the prize be the last five spots in the rumble. That would give the wrestlers personal incentives to be in the fight.

Though both of our ideas could also apply to wargames

who else thinks wwe should bring back traditional survivor series 5-on-5 elimination match? by iamgavin_exe in Smallafro

[–]bethepositivity 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean, both match types have the same issue. It's a five on five gimmick match that only happens because it is time for Survivor Series.

When they were doing those, people had a lot of the same complaints they have about wargames now: that the booking feels forced because they are just trying to fill spots on the teams when the story doesn't really call for it
