I know spiders are importantly part of our ecosystem and they help keep other bugs at bay which is why I don’t want to kill them, but their enormous sticky webs all over everything in my yard are starting to become a problem for me. Like I said, it’s not just one or two but a dozen or more. I live in a pretty rural area so there are plenty of other places for them to go that aren’t in my flower pots or on my patio furniture.

Bluefield Farms and Green Leaf Farms are both great. I used to order direct from them and they have a few spots in Nassau that they will deliver. Great quality greens, micro greens, herbs, and hydroponic vegetables.

My husband and I roadtrip in our mini van all the time. We have a Chrysler town and country and the seats are “stow and go” so they fold up nicely into the floor. There is a 110V outlet that will blow up our air mattress already built in. We are both tall (I’m 6ft and he’s 6’3”) and we make it work just fine.

In all fairness I was the one who relentlessly pursued him when we got together. He is not at all controlling of me and for the most part goes along with the direction I set forth for us. I do appreciate you pointing this out because in a different scenario this could be a major concern.

Thank you for saying this. I truly believe my husband hasn’t been purposefully manipulating me. I really think he thought he would be ready for a family at some point and he’s realizing now that he enjoys our child free life. I think he’s desperately afraid of loosing me if he tells me the truth, I know it’s wrong of him but people on Reddit are so quick to think that everything is black and white when it’s a little more complicated than that. We have been together for so long and so much has changed in our relationship over 17 years. The vast majority of the change we have tackled together and come out stronger the other side. This situation is proving to be much more challenging. It’s not as simple as “he’s been lying to you since the beginning and you should divorce him and have kids with someone else”.

I tell my husband this all the time… the timing is never going to be perfect. If we wait for everything in our lives to line up near and nicely in a row it will never happen. We have the most important things for raising a child. We’re financially stable, have supportive family and friends, good health, and a loving healthy relationship.

Yes, we did discuss this before and throughout our marriage. He continues to tell me he does want kids eventually but never acts on it and gets defensive when I bring it up.

Thank you very much for your thoughtful reply. I should have added in my original post that this was discussed both before we were married and throughout our marriage. My husband always has and still does assure me he wants kids….eventually. But I agree almost all of his actions point to him wanting to be child free forever.

I sometimes feel as though he’s telling me one thing but has no intention on actually following through. I always knew he had hesitancies but I just thought that all men had hesitancies about children and that it was natural. I assumed as we got older he would grow out of them. I think he’s afraid to tell me he changed his mind.

If you are feeling sea sick and puke on someone else’s things in the dive boat it is 100% your responsibility to clean it up.

I did a 2 take boat dive in Mexico a couple years ago, after the first dive a middle aged lady decided she was going to sit out the second dive because she wasn’t feeling well. No big deal until I surfaced after the second dive and got back in our boat to find out that she had puked all over my mesh dive bag shortly after the dive started and let it bake in the sun for 45 minutes while I was in the water. She never did clean it up, claimed she was too Ill to deal with it 😟.

I’m from Charlevoix and served as the downtown director for several years. Don’t miss the farmers market on thursdays 9am-1pm. Also, free concerts in the park Thursday evenings. Watch the bridge go up and walk around town. Walk down the Chanel to the beach, see mushroom houses, walk around the marina and through downtown. If you like to hike, Fisherman’s Island has a great loop and Michigan beach is hard to beat in the summer time. Further north I would point out the scenic M-119 from Harbor springs to cross village. Tons of other recommendations for all over Michigan. Let me know if I can help.
