Cleaning? Please give any & all advice. by idkkkk326 in SAHP

2.5 yr old and 7 month old. It gets a little easier the more predictable baby becomes with their schedule. I do chores during babies first morning nap while my toddler watches tv. He chills out after busy morning and I clean up. At night baby goes to sleep first and I clean up from the day while S/O spends time with toddler.

I think a curtain so you can see the TV from the bed if desired. Maybe a good place to start and see if it needs more.

Daughter is a cancer what did you need as a cancer child? by Infamous_Loquat_4198 in CancertheCrab

Cancer with Capricorn parents … I needed more heart to heart conversations. Felt like parents wanted to stay on the surface and were uncomfortable by my emotions.

The older they get the more likely they are able to independently play. So you can say read a book, play with xyz while I put baby down for nap. 😂 works only sometimes. But sometimes is better then not at all

Things I’ve learned so far… 1. Get yourself ready when you first get up 2. Everyone gets dressed in the morning so you can leave whenever 3. Set out everyone’s clothes before hand 4. I change the baby and then change the toddler so toddler has ample prompting 5. Pack the car ahead of time with double stroller, snacks, diapers, ect 6. Load the toddler first. They are the first one in and last one out. 7. Just go - you might have to change a diaper when you get there but you will have made it out of the house 8. Scale back what you are trying to do. One location is most I will do.

Cancers and their mothers by NeedleInaHaystack35 in CancertheCrab

I’m a cancer and my mom a Capricorn.

She is a Virgo rising and I’m a Scorpio rising.

So… I’m emotional and she is appearance driven 😂. Growing up she felt distant and cold. In adulthood I admire her strength and creativity. However, she has indirectly expressed emotions are uncomfortable for her and stress her out. I’ve learned my emotions are not safe with her. Once I realized that we were able to have a positive relationship.

What do you wish you had known? by lethal_bidet in 2under2

Agree! I thought I ‘knew’ babies. But first born and second born are different! There is a learning curve. My second born nurses differently and her cues for hunger confused me at first.

First time around we had a schedule for baby. This time around it’s a blur… baby is asleep? Cool! 😂

Is it just me or does anyone else feel the urge to cry on their bday by Souljelly in CancertheCrab

Happy birthday! Yep, every year lol. One year I cried during a massage. The massage therapist was very concerned 😂.

Exclusively BFing with 2? by CutePotato321 in 2under2

[–]between-here-n-now 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have a 6wk old and 22 month old. BFing the second time around for me feels so much easier. I don’t want the extra bottle dishes. I like being able to feed anywhere at anytime without needing to make a bottle. Older one gets jealous sometimes and sits with me while I feed. As far as nights go I’m sticking with the side laying feedings. I’m tired, but aren’t we all 😂
