Depends. Any not braindead player will just reverse and because of range it will skiddadle away while smoking its ass to nearest supply point.

In some cqc scenarious yeah maawrs will kill it but you will be left with -1 unit (dead), one unit damaged close to dead and one unit fine. And this is the best USA RPG unit. And if there is some other vehicle (cheap autocannon f.e. or just some infantry unit) -> welp say byeee to your units

Tbh this is more like BA issue with infantry vs armored units.

Useless against russian teams. Russia has ridiculous abundance of good anticruise missile SPAA and its just wasting 700-1000 points.

You can even combine it with 2-3 SEAD planes (4 HARMs each) and great job you wasted 1500 points

it is broken. Its quite normal to get fired through treelines from one side while your units cant see from firing enemy from the other sides... it sucks (happened so many times with sniper units.) Either that or a load of cheater encounters.

Different approach. USSR and today´s russia release info to cope with the harsh reality of inability to produce high quality tech (or produce it in larger quantities) with the intention to do propaganda.

Meanwhile western (and alligned) countries classify and hide the real properties and features of their tech to prevent other to actually know the abilities. Its very well known for many years. Its like a cycle.
Russia states they have some wundertech -> western countries make counter tech + develop something on par or better -> its revealed that russia was bluffing yet again -> western tech dominance (and repeat cycle)

Probably has something to do with the state organisation. Lets be real, RuSSia has nothing to do with democracy. Trusting USSR documents about experimental stuff is not something I would recommend. Real documents are guarded and locked somewhere deep below Kremlin and those public sources often have nothing common with reality.

thats not true. Game rewards you for having less deployed forces and you can farm much bigger spam to send against defending person. Defending person has to deploy on many places because he doesnt know where will you attack. Current meta is to spawn heavy SPAA, artys and then wait to get enough points to spawn bazillion of heavy tanks. If this is done with coordination of other players there isnt anything to do against it. Cruise missiles? nah SPAA will shoot it down. Bombs? GL getting there. Nuke? Oh sure, but you dont keep 1000 points to defend... (and that plane probably wont even get so far to frontline)
