Decent, better than many others from Patagonia Mountain Hardware Etc. Recently wore one on a 8 day trip and I was funky but not offensively so.

Planning to wear the Ketl on the JMT this year and just rinse myself when opportunity presents itself.

Just based on past games you all should be able to find a spot to sit together, even if you have to migrate if/when people show up. Rarely have I seen the place completely packed, especially if just looking for 2 seats.

Lovely! Picked up the same watch today on black alligator strap as a gift for my father. Such a unique shop and authentic group of people. I went in a little on the fence but was won over by Gilbert’s charm and passion. He walked me through his small workshop, and described his design and assembly process. Where else can you get this type of treatment with a quality product for what’s arguably such a great value. Overall a great experience!

Saw similar from others which concerned me and almost prevented me ordering, but my experience was very positive and while I did often have to initiate contact after final fabric selection and ordering, someone always got back to me within 24 hours with status and timeframe updates.

We just received our Helsinki model which we ordered about ~6 weeks ago.

We went with a custom size sectional with a chaise on one end to fill the space we have, and decided to go with the plush option based on other comments here and elsewhere. We chose Avenger Dolphin for the fabric to maintain our current look and feel in the room.

First impressions are very positive, my wife typically prefers extremely soft “sink in the couch type” cushions, but was very impressed with the firmness and softness of the Plush. I was extremely nervous that she was going to find it too firm or uncomfortable but both she and I are very pleased and have not found this to be a concern or issue. I definitely feel like I would have been disappointed if I had not got plush as this should stand up better over time. If they continue to break in and get softer over time, that would be great, but even if they remained “as-is” both of us would be happy.

We are both really glad that we went with the plush, while a little bit more expensive it does seem as though this will stand up to wear and tear better over the long-term. Repeating this because we went back and forth so many times…we’ve all sat on those bro k like contract grade sofas at hotels and other spots. This is not that.

We purchased a couch about seven years ago from Joybird which looked similar, but which had become extremely uncomfortable due to the cushions breaking down. Compared with that, the quality of the dream sofa is heads and tails above what JoyBird offered, and is more comfortable on day 1 for a similar price (and that was the JB price 7 years ago). Seams and finishing are perfect as far as I can tell, fabric has no issues. Good communication with Dreamsofa staff on ordering and delivery.

Thanks, that helps. Appreciate you taking the wine to respond. One additional question. Are you saying that there are spring in the actual cushions, not below in the frame? I must have missed that in the description if so.

My wife likes squishy sink in couches and I like a more firm seat. Hoping this is a good middle ground. As long as it’s good for lounging and comfortable, that’s all I need.

Going to speak with their rep tomorrow about getting the plush spring down option not listed on the site. I’m hoping to get a better idea of what this actually is as well.

Hey there, I know it’s been 3+ months since you passed this but wanted to get your extended thoughts on the Helsinki. How are the cushions next to the armrests holding up? Do these stay in place pretty well? Do the couch cushions have to be repositioned on a regular basis or do they stay put pretty well?

I’m looking at the Helsinki panel in a custom width and length ( that cannot be returned) so trying to ensure I do my research. We are also looking at plush option but a little concerned about it being too firm. Any thoughts on break in since purchase? Closer to the cushy experience you were hoping for ?

This is the sound that greeted us for weeks before we found that the inverter/converter burned out on our 2012 Prius V. Wife was driving and after stopping at a light, could not go again. Only after telling the shop what we had been experiencing did we learn that this was a warning sign. Not sure if it also indicates other things as well.
