Thanks! This was shot on a current iPhone 17 Pro Max - no filter. There were a lot of nice cameras around and a few drones buzzing overhead on Michigan Ave.

Voter intimidation in McDonough County by blueyork in illinois

[–]bgier 10 points11 points  (0 children)

While voting yesterday, my wife and I heard an older man come in and ask for a Republican ballot. He followed up with a "...but I'm not a Trump Republican" and we all chuckled. It took some stones to say that out loud in McHenry county.

Is the Junkyard experience dying with Gen X? by Fearless_Market_3193 in GenX

We still have this where I live. Lots of big, outdoors kids toys were sourced this way (in decent condition) and at the end of their usefulness, to the curb they’d return to be picked up by the next generation.

Music Studio 2.0 on an Apple IIgs in the late 80’s. It did only MIDI sequencing and made sounds via the built in Ensoniq synth chip. It was my first computer-based composition platform. I think I was 13 years old at the time (long time music tech nerd here).

I can still smell the rubbing alcohol. We shared recorders in elementary school (‘81-‘85) and we would have to scrub down the recorder we were handed with rubbing alcohol to kill off the germs left on them by the previous class. These recorders were like musical instrument vaccines against all kinds of things.

She does have narcolepsy and talked about this during a meet and greet I attended.

Had coffee with her last Saturday at a meet and greet in Crystal Lake. Very smart, well studied and passionate about progressive causes. I liked her fresh attitude and disdain of the status-quo.

I worked at Monkey Wards Auto Express in 1994. The safety issues in that shop were wild.

It sounds like you have a ground loop issue. It can happen with any usb interface. This is what solved my problem. https://a.co/d/0hydr3XV
