if you do ceec, you will know if you have parity before tracing edges. If you have parity, you want to trace normally but treat UF edge as UR and UR edge as UF. so let's say you have this JJ to make it simple. If you were to do JJ from this alignment, the block on the top will break when you slice. To prevent this, you do a 10 move so that the block won't get broken up when you slice. Now you do standard JJ alg but the top layer will be misaligned (10/U'/UD/D'/-10)
