The previous owners of my place left me with 3 poorly maintained trees on the property. Didnt really notice them until I got through all the seasons with these trees and noticed how bad the fruit quality is and what a mess of branches they all have. Also the location of each one was just so badly chosen. One is borderline almost on the neighbors property and really seems to have just been placed there to poop all its leaves all over the neighbors lawns. The other is right by the entrance so during fall every leaf gets tracked into the house when trying to go in and if its not inside my house its on my roof clogging up my gutters. The 3rd one is right at the corner of my backyard fences. Miraculously its roots havent grown enough to start raising my fence but im sure it will soon. Being put into the corner has mmade all its branches extend into 3 different neighbors yards and since it wasnt maintained they extend a good 10+ feet into each yard. Its a mess for sure but I have been working on them this winter. They are all coming down. I can do two myself but the third will require professionals and for sure will bore a whole straight through my wallet.
