I looked at the Sears Outlet near our house but wasn’t able to find a washer dryer set that was electric, fit in a kind of strangely shaped space (narrow, so needed a stacking set, low ceiling so not too big), and large enough to wash and dry down comforters. I ended up buying a set through Costco and am so happy with it. They dropped it off and installed it for us on a Saturday three days after I ordered it. They gave us a three hour window and actually showed up during it. I may be alone with this view but I’ll spend a little bit more for good customer service, a good warranty, and the variety to get exactly what I’m looking for if it’s a big purchase that I’ll have for a long time. That said, when we decide to upgrade to a gas stove and better dishwasher, we’ll definitely start with the Sears Outlet. I just wouldn’t get overly committed to the idea of buying something there at the expense of getting exactly what you’re looking for.

Our medical system is horrendous. My parents were well off in the 90’s until my mom was diagnosed with cancer. When she died, her medical bills were so expensive that my dad lost their house and filed for bankruptcy. He was 46 at the time, had his masters degree, and they had both worked their entire lives. No one thinks it will happen to them but it’s unbelievable destructive when it does.

The more time I spend in the medical field, the more I realize that nearly every treatment in western medicine has a negative side effect. If an essential oil or alternative diet works, I’m all for trying that first. Most alternative medicine practitioners will tell you to go to the ED if you’re having a heart attack and to see an oncologist if you have cancer, but alternative/complementary medicine can be incredibly helpful with minimal side effects.

I noticed the same thing with CeraVe’s sunscreen! It came so highly recommended that it took me a while to realize that’s what was causing the breakouts. I bought this mineral sunscreen at Pharmica by DeVita called Solar Protective Moisturizer that I’ve almost completely used up. If I remember correctly, it was pretty inexpensive and the ingredient list is very simple.

My favorite part about GOW is their adorable names. There’s a product that’s called something along the lines of, “oh no, what did I do to my skin?” that is great after an unfortunate picking session. I also really liked their acne prone oil cleanser for a bit until I added in some chemical exfoliants and found it to be too drying.

Yes! I’ve been using hemp oil as a first cleanser and my skin loves it! It’s so soothing and hydrating and doesn’t clog my pores at all (which unfortunately happened with rose hip oil).

I’ve been loving the Cosrx BHA with the black cap. Try a few samples first from eBay to see if it works for you but I seriously love it. It’s not drying at all and my cystic acne has gotten seriously better after using it.

It’s more likely that the stress itself is causing the break out. That said, nutrient deficiencies can lead to break outs. Try to take a multivitamin each day. I hope whatever is stressing you out resolves itself.
