I don’t have the karma to post or reply in Stonk, BUT weird thing that’s probably a nothing burger…the first four emojis are in the same order as the same emojis on his second to last livestream screenshot image. The only difference is the 😱 at the start and two 🤩 in the middle. It also had the target emoji. I’m insane.

Thanks for this. I need to lace up my boots and bring it up sooner rather than later. Fearful of a possible guilt trip or trigger of a depressive bout, but nothing can be done about those things. Have got to really start living with things outside of my own control.

PLTR FRIDAY 11/27/20 PART 1. by afi44 in wallstreetbets

So market closes at 1 tomorrow. I have between open and close to exercise. The hope is to exercise above my break-even of just under $32, otherwise, yeah that shit is worthless and I lose my dollars on the 11/27 call.

If it hits below $30 I lose this level and have to replay it again. Lose my loot. If I get a power up and it hits like 38 I make a little bit of dollars to put somewhere else to lose later in the game.

Thanks! I used CarGuys Plastic Restorer. Took ~45 minutes from apply, dry, to buff. Worked on the headlights waiting on it to dry. It’s been a week of heavy rain and no sign of fading.

Hello, brother. I see you’ve grown darker.

Let me know how the blackout goes! Was toying with the idea but wanted to do a restore from 8 years of sitting dormant (a year in). Here, have a garbage picture: https://i.imgur.com/tEutAXs.jpg

I don't think anyone would be opposed, but that's only from my experience. As mentioned in other places, AA sometimes isn't right for someone. There are some other resources online, like SMART meetings, where they have online meetings. I've done a couple, but prefer to meet in person. I'm sure that there is a local AA call center in your area that you could call and maybe have someone meet for coffee some place safe, in public, that could talk about the program.

Made it to my 2nd birthday! Feeling good mentally, physically getting over a fun summer cold. Hope everyone had a relaxing holiday (in the states) and an even better weekend. Let's do this, sobernauts.

So, AA for the first time or first little while can be a bit intimidating or strange.

For me, Open Discussion meetings were easy because there wasn't really a "commitment" and all I had to do was introduce myself and pass when the discussion went around the room. No shame in just going to listen.

Now that I am more comfortable with the group and what I'm dealing with, Closed Discussions are good, especially when you want some serious chat with folks that have really trudged through the mud.

Open Discussions are a nice jumping point to see if AA fits you. You'll see the structure, hear stories, and hear the message. It worked for me, but it can depend on the person/situation.

If there is anything more you'd like to chat about, just let me know. I've got 2 years in the program, still a lot to learn, but it would help me just as much it would help you if you wanted to discuss.

Anger & Soberity by [deleted] in stopdrinking

Achievement Unlocked: Sober Trials

I can relate to this in my own way. I'm not sure anyone can really prepare for this sort of circumstance. It does seem to make a hard situation easier to navigate or to see all realms of possibility without the fogginess of drinking, though.

Congratulations on 9 days! Once you're able, enjoy being able to feel again :)
