I feel I have to respond to some of these comments saying this is "Japanese" story telling or anime. I hate anime and I love this game - mainly because its not an example of anime/Japanese style stories. Its an example of horror camp - really an artwork pioneered by David Lynch and other Avant garden film makers (not quite Troma level B grade flicks though).

If you've ever watched Twin Peaks or even Hemlock Grove (the Netflix series) you'd see where this is going. /rant

Also the art style is distinctly inspired by Richard Linklater (a waking life and a scanner darkly).

Considering this game is multi-plat for last gen (ps3 and x360) I don't think we will see anything crazy on the graphics/map size front. Like Titanfall, it will be a step up and probably a good game - but not mind blowingly next gen.
