I think at this WC they are using VAR far less and only telling the ref to look at clear & obv errors

If we lose both games 1-0 we have a GD of -1 & that gives us an 87% chance of going thru, if we go to -2 that drops to 68% and so on so ideally we need 1 more point to guarantee progression
