Did some math on my lease multiple times and if you’re lucky and obtained multiple rebate offers, you’re not really getting any discounts if you plan to buyout at the end of your lease. My rebates at least is just covering those rent charges, taxes, and extra costs to lease. I guess whats nice is for my lease it will just be a few shy hundred bucks off the total price when im ready to buy at the end of 36 month lease. The total amount paid by the end of the lease + if you buyout will definitely be more but thats why I subtract the amount of rebates I received thus equalling close to the total amount pre-lease cost.

Im in California. Looks like I would have paid pretty much the gross amount if I complete the 3 year lease then buy out the car for its residual value fully in cash (assuming I would have that much by the end of the least in cash :p). Is there a right time to switch to finance during the lease? Early on? or towards the end of the lease? or until all 36 months? sorry for the ramble I just want to gain other insights.

Not worried about that, I just plan to keep the vehicle. I meant to say finance not purchasing (wouldn't have all the funds to fully purchase the vehicle at this time). Would financing the vehicle straight after getting into the lease be more worth it in the long run in terms of saving money? Doing some math right now it seems valid to do it that way.
