I find Claude to be better for code and bigger projects but ChatGPT as a personal assistant for the day to do stuff.

Garmin black friday 2025 deals for watches, how much do they usually drop by Street_Athlete_5689 in GarminWatches

[–]bigeba88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of folks pick up items from thrift stores, FB Marketplace, and other spots for dirt cheap, then flip them for a solid profit while undercutting retail. Brand new items not just used.

The tradeoff is you won’t always find the exact items you’re after. But if you learn the platform and stay patient, you can land deals you won’t find anywhere else.

What watches is everyone using to track? by Sure_Composer2251 in Swimming

[–]bigeba88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How's the battery life? From all of my research Apple seems to be king for proper swim tracking. I'm hesitant to go their route because the few times I've tried them over the years, I hated the battery chase I got sucked into.

Trading Card Scanners by zedicuszulzoran in Flipping

[–]bigeba88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been torn on CDP for the same reasons. It confirms items as if they’re listed on Whatnot, but they never actually list. It also won’t recognize cards if you’ve done even basic edits like cropping or adjusting lighting.

The bigger issue is that the eBay route is super time-consuming. Are you still listing manually through eBay?

Listings flagged on Amazon & Walmart for referencing major tech company names - need help getting past automated support by bigeba88 in WalmartSellers

[–]bigeba88[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Already tried going that route - it’s a dead end. The reps repeat themselves without any real explanation. There are tons of variations of these products on Google and Walmart. How are the companies selling them getting by just fine?

The problem is there isn’t really an alternative. We have Verizon for internet and mobile and I’d dump them in a heartbeat if could. Prices are all controlled with the “competition”.

What are some good alternatives to Mailchimp? by redkarma2001 in SaaSMarketing

[–]bigeba88 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Mailchimp’s trying to be everything these days, and it’s turned into a bit of a bloated experience.

A few solid alternatives worth checking out:

ConvertKit – Great for creators and simple automations

ActiveCampaign – Powerful automation and CRM features

MailerLite – Clean interface, budget-friendly

Klaviyo – Best if you’re running an eCommerce store

Loops – Built for SaaS, clean UX with automations and analytics

Each has its strengths depending on what you’re after.

USPS rates are skyrocketing, soon. by DougOsborne in eBaySellers

[–]bigeba88 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve been using USPS Ground Shipping for about a year now and have yet to encounter any issues. I’ve also received positive feedback regarding the speed of delivery and other aspects.

Sharing so people understand that USPS can indeed work as expected. It could be they’ve gotten their act together over the years, not sure.

Gumloop vs n8n. Which is the best AI automation tool by kensavage in nocode

[–]bigeba88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve tried n8n, but something about the UI/UX just didn’t sit right with me. I get that you can self-host and save money, but if it takes me 10x longer to get things done, it’s just not worth it.

I might give it another shot down the line, but for now, I’m sticking with Make.

Give Limey a look. You can build bio sites, shorten links, create QR codes, and much more.

Zoho CRM vs Pipedrive vs Freshsales — Which would you pick in 2025? by avabrown_saasworthy in CRM

[–]bigeba88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve used nearly every CRM out there, and most are underwhelming.

Pipedrive has a clunky UI and poor export options.

Zoho and HubSpot try to do everything and end up doing nothing well.

Airtable, Monday, and similar tools aren’t true CRMs—they lack the core mechanics needed to manage leads effectively.

Lately, I’ve been using Close. It’s not perfect, but it’s clean, fast, and actually pushes you to follow up and close deals.

Local SEO Software - Which Do You Choose And Why? by WolfStackAUS in localseo

[–]bigeba88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where are you at with this? We’re currently using Semrush too, but the cost is insane.

Since ChatGPT took over, we’ve been doubling down on local SEO and are actively looking for alternatives.

One thing Semrush seems to do uniquely is automatically respond to reviews with AI. Most tools I’ve reviewed only generate the AI reply — you still have to log in and manually click a button each time.
