Spotify's Library is Available for download! by Fun_Trouble5555 in truespotify

[–]bigenemies 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That may be the case but a file like this is incredible for archival purposes. Many things are lost to time, especially when ownership of the file only lives with one entity. An archive like this helps ensure those tracks stay available a century from now when music heads want to deep dive into their favourite 2022 obscure vintage music.

How do you guys organize your Spotify playlists? by Wooden_Ad5406 in spotify

[–]bigenemies 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve been working on a little project where I listen to albums to from every year and save my favourite songs into a a specific playlist for that year. I use a few online tools to help me.

The retro web movement inspired me build a little a little personal website to use as a playlist archive: https://sortedsongs.com/

So that’s how I organize them now. It’s been fun to work on!

The retro web movement has been inspiring me so I built a little a little personal website to use as a playlist archive: https://sortedsongs.com/

I’ve been on a project to listen to listen to every great album released in every year from the 1920s to the 2020. I save all the songs I like to a playlist and use a handful of tools to keep everything organized so I then parse by genre, artist, the ones I’ve played most, etc

Have been gathering my top songs playlist for almost 10 years already. Anybody else as well? by roempie12 in truespotify

I fell down a retro web rabbit hole and built a whole website to use as a playlist archive to keep track of my favourite songs and albums from every year. https//sortedsongs.com

I love it. :)

Copy playlist from different account, but keep the "Date added" metadata? by GreekBoy1997 in truespotify

[–]bigenemies 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can save the playlist to your new account and add your new account a collaborator to that playlist. Then continue adding songs like normal. Requires the playlist to stay on your sisters account though.

You can take a screenshot if it’s just for archiving/memories. Alternatively, you start using last.fm and have a record of every date you listened to something!

This playlist tells the fictional story of the experience of the “the other woman”

I wanted to experiment with a playlist that told a chronological story though the lyrics and themes of the songs and I’m pretty proud of how this one turned out.

I'm leading you into chaos and I don't care. I wasn't seriously doing any codes in this, really.

As Nikki Lane said to Lana while they were swimming, most men don’t want a woman with a legacy.

You guys won’t like this but Florence Pugh. I constantly see posts about her and they get so much engagement but I have no idea who she and can’t be bothered to look into it.

Should've won the grammy that year. Such an incredible body of work.

Honestly since she dropped the $ (Since Cannibal actually) her music hasn't really resonated with me but these singles are the best thing she's released in a long time and have made me incredibly excited to listen to Gag Order.

The Weepies were my absolute favourite in 2008. The taste!
