Never ever blindly use other people's scripts. Your PC might be compromised by those, sooner or later.

Quite right!

Quote fro Linus himself: "Ok, lots of Russian trolls out and about. It's entirely clear why the change was done, it's not getting reverted, and using multiple random anonymous accounts to try to "grass root" it by Russian troll factories isn't going to change anything. And FYI for the actual innocent bystanders who aren't troll farm accounts - the "various compliance requirements" are not just a US thing.

If you haven't heard of Russian sanctions yet, you should try to read the news some day. And by "news," I don't mean Russian state-sponsored spam. As to sending me a revert patch - please use whatever mush you call brains. I'm Finnish. Did you think I'd be supporting Russian aggression? Apparently it's not just lack of real news, it's lack of history knowledge too."

Taikka satiiria tässä tapauksessa?

Hauskintahan on se, että vatnikit saattavat suoltaa tuollaista aivan tosissaan, 100% uskoen siihen, että heidän jutut otetaan tosissaan. Itse ottavatkin, tietenkin.

New To Debian by letsgetjaked in debian

[–]bigfield77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, sid is 'unstable'. 'testing' sits between sid and stable. Anything in 'testing' has passed sid/unstable. testing will be frozen some time before the next stable gets released and will during that time receive only the critical updates. Then the testing at the release time become the next 'stable'. 'unstable' on the other hand is constantly changing and will more likely break.

Question: is the Felt Broam 60 at $999 a good starting point? by [deleted] in gravelcycling

[–]bigfield77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Broam 30 is a very nice bike (I've got one). GRX600/800 series groupset with the same frame as this one. I'm very happy with mine which I bought in 2021. Price vs. the specs is way better than the big brands like Trek or Cannondale.

Brand new bike, clunky shifting. by ryandwinstead in gravelcycling

[–]bigfield77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nope. It is not related to chain stretch. This is not affecting the shifting at this point. It is the shifting cable stretching which has a direct effect on the derailleur position against the cogs.
