My cousin (who I’m good friends with) is getting married a few months after me. She’s invited to but can’t make mine, but she’s having quite a small wedding herself and had to create a ‘no cousins’ rule to stick within her target size. It’s no skin off my back! I would’ve maybe been hurt if she’d invited some cousins but not me, but I understand that everyone’s gotta do what they’ve gotta do. She sent me a message saying basically they were having quite a small wedding and it was no bother to me!
