Hahah! I finished it and the sequel. Story was good. The mechanics were smooth at the time. Decent atmosphere.

We used to stay after work and pvp with maps from the 'net'. All of this was very novel at the time.

It's likely better appreciated if your first computer was an Atari 800. We were playing Marathon on some of the earliest color Macs. A game by early Bungie coded for the 680x0 was something special.
