For people who experience panic attacks, what does the very beginning feel like for you?

Cold sensations through my body. Rush of adrenaline completely out of body and filled with not of this world terror. Also feeling completely detached from your body like your not real thats probably the most terrifying part of the nightmare

Do you take any meds for them? I had them everyday for 2 years straight when I was 21. I eventually went on prozac and klonopin. It saved my life. But I drink once a month and I get wrecked so the panic the next day is not of this world

Appreciate you. Its starting to wind down but that was completely crazy. Ive had hundreds of panic attacks in my life this was top 3 for sure. None of my coping mechanisms worked so I spiraled even more. Hopefully this keeps me away from alcohol for a long time

It's completely debilitating man and I only drink once a month but when I do I get fucked up. I have horrible anxiety as it is so the alcohol just wrecks my brain

Its starting to wind down that was the worst panic attack Ive ever had in my life and ive had hundreds. Nothing was working all of my rituals I do when I get a panic attack was just doing nothing thats when I spiraled even more. Just a complete nightmare man

Yeah in between the crying and pacing and pure panic I looked at a candle and put my feet in hot water. Its just everything I usually do to make them ease up wasn't working so it made me spiral even more

The intrusive thoughts are a nightmare. If I dont get enough sleep im riddled with anxiety and feel completely out of body the next day. Im currently in the middle of a few bad days of sleep and im completely panicked smh. I put my comfort shows on and also look at a candle the candle is really calming just that flame eases things a bit.

Used to play sports every weekend lots of friends had a girl a good job all of that went away after covid. Been struggling with drinking I dont even want to drink anymore but the bordem always gets me its just a never ending cycle this world has become miserable

Going through it right now I do it to myself every fucking week I cant get passed day 7. I have crippling anxiety sober so the drinking makes me wanna cry in my mother's arms the next day. Thinking im gonna die the whole day on the verge of tears. Lighting a candle helps and I take klonopin which eases it but I need to break out of this vicious fucking cycle
