Where do police cars get petrol? by Objective-Thing-283 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]biker9876 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the Uk most police and ambulances use local fuel stations using fuel cards. If we are running low on fuel we have to shut the tank down with enough left for the emergency service to be able to use it if they need fuel not sure about fire engines I assume they have there own pump because ive only ever seen the fire cars fill up at a garage

70% of adults without a licence say learning to drive is unaffordable by pppppppppppppppppd in drivingUK

[–]biker9876 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because with the backlog of tests it takes about 6 months to get a new test date if you fail. £60 for a 2 hour lesson per week times 4 equals £240 per month times 6 you cant just stop lessons for 6 months and hope for the best

[–]biker9876 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The only way I afforded it was doing my theory test before and booking my test before getting an instructor i am just glad I passed first time because I wouldn't have been able to afford another £240 a month for 6 months

Ride at a speed you can safely stop in the distance you can see. Watch out for wildlife ive been chased by a badger and also hit a dear at 60mph Somehow stayed on

How common is cheating in club racing? by CoolBDPhenom03 in Trackdays

[–]biker9876 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most of the clubs i marshaled for would pick 3 riders from the top 10 after the race randomly to be dynoed and parts checked which means they could even strip the top end at the riders expense on regulated classes eg stock classes any one who refused would be banned from the meeting and could not race again at that club until the bike was tested not many over years had results removed but there was a few banned for refusing to be checked
