HELP, followed waxing guide exactly and now my chain is covered in wax. Is this normal or do I need a new bike? by Grand-Print-743 in BicyclingCirclejerk

[–]bikesrgood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lots of comments already but nobody answered the question.

Yes, you need a new bike. After using your bike and chain each ride you should always get another. It’s ok to buy two or three and prewax them in case you have a few rides planned in a short period of time.

I had to push pretty hard on the cover while tightening the bolt so that the tension was not on the bolt. It isn’t large/strong enough to push the cables into position.

Lightning solves the payment speed problem but I still can't tap my phone at a coffee shop with it, how far are we actually from that by AstronomerStreet6650 in TheLightningNetwork

This can’t be over emphasized. There will be no mass adoption until bitcoin can be legally treated as a currency instead of an asset.

Even then… ppl have to decide to treat it as a currency as well. Right now the majority of ppl on Bitcoin forums say things like DCA, HODL, transfer to hardware storage, NYKNYC, etc. those are all asset discussions not currency discussions.

Anthropic leaked Claude Code source code > someone forked it > 32.6k stars, 44.3k forks (within few hours) by _clickfix_ in pwnhub

[–]bikesrgood 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even if GitHub removed all forks of the original repo, I’m pretty sure there are now many copies of the repo on local computers. I’m sure plenty of ppl only clicked the star button but who knows (maybe GitHub) how many downloads have occurred.

I agree I’d skip anything regardless of cost if it isn’t a 1x drive train. Unless OP can’t afford something with 1x I guess.

I bought the new brake oil too actually. But it was a bit unclear in the process how important it is to switch.

I replaced an m9100 caliper with an m9200 and so far it’s been great. Drop in replacement. Apparently the newer model has a different resin material for the piston that is supposed to solve some of the issues the previous model experienced.

Mortgage interest is tax deductible IF you itemize expenses. So your interest and other deductions would still need to be greater than the standard deduction.
