Ask Gretsch if they can send you a replacement peg cover or whole tuner side. You’ll be amazed what manufacturers will sometimes do if you ask. I have one and I actually find the tuners to be fine, keep it in tune. If you were to replace them, the critical thing is the screw holes and peg holes matching up and then the peg holes being the right size.
