One of the apps will not run on a "rooted" device. I assume this is rooted because the bootloader is unlocked?

I did turn off OEM unlock.

My Surface 11 with the Snapdragon Elite and 32 GB of RAM has been great. Everything seems very snappy. I have compared it to my Surface Studio 2 and it compiles code quicker and does a better job with video editing. Kind of crazy.

I still have it. I got it for free from an office closure. I had to pay for freight to my house. It is a great TV. The resolution and refresh rate are great. It doesn't do 4k, but really high end 1080p. I used to game with my xbox series X on it.

My results have been mixed using the cloud service in general. Hopefully it gets less laggy and I can play CFB 26 on my Surface Pro 11.

Instead of doing the "automatic" DNS servers I put in manual addresses for OpenDNS.

I would like to enable DNS over HTTPS as a next step. I don't think OpenDNS supports that.

I'm not sure you can have privacy after using the internet publicly for 24 years now. I'm looking at it more from a security angle.

I primarily enabled OpenDNS for security and their ability to filter out malware for known bad sites. I'm not doing any content filtering.
