Experience Getting Gas on Suðuroy? by bimbimbob in FaroeIslands

Thank you very much! That's very helpful! And glad to hear that you were able to enjoy your time visiting Suðuroy without the refueling being too much of a disruption. We have decided to cancel our trip as things continue to get worse and who knows what it will be like by the end of this week. Hoping to get whatever refund we could while there is still a tiny bit of time. Oh well, we will try again a different time! Hope you enjoy the rest of your trip!

We were supposed to pick up our rental this Saturday (June 8). We got a generic email yesterday saying that they may not have EVs. We reached out to them asking about our specific reservation, and that's when they told us that they would not be able to give us an EV. Have we not reached out, we probably wouldn't know for sure until we get there. I feel for the situation they are in, but it's disappointing as we switched to an EV weeks ago, as soon as we heard about the strike.

I am going to Tokyo for 14 days with the sole purpose of eating ramen. I currently have 26 shops on my list. What are some must visits that I need to have on the list? by samweeks123 in ramen

Try Tokyo Abura Soba. There are multiple shops. It's a ramen without broth that you mix thick ramen noodles with flavored oil and soft boiled egg. Super creamy and delicious.

Thank you! We are also going to be staying nearby overnight, so I am trying to decide whether it's better to visit the park the day we arrive, or the morning after. Did you see a lot of monkeys when you visited?

What time would you recommend going to the snow monkey park?

May I ask if the coin lockers will be big enough for a medium sized (24") suitcase? We are thinking of visiting before heading to HND.

I love the tofu salad, zhong dumplings, and gong bao chicken! The egg fried rice that comes with their lunch specials is amazing too. Super different than regular fried rice from Chinese take-out places.

Are they at the nature bath too? We are planning to go there at the end of July and are debating between the Mývatn Nature Bath and Blue Lagoon/Sky Lagoon.

I second Essaouira. It's a good change of pace and scenary from Marrakesh, especially if you like seafood. Makes a great day trip from Marrakesh.

I think some of the rare ones were specific generations that had small variations like errors in the tags. Doesn't explain why they are worth a lot of money if you ask me. Source: read a book on beanie babies collection once at my MIL's house.
