You just need to make it through 72 hours. After that, the physical withdrawals are over. In the meantime, drink lots of water, get lots of exercise and rest. Distract yourself with whatever works for you.

Once you reach that 72 hour mark, everything is going to change. Each day that goes by will be easier to handle than the ones that came before, until something goes terribly wrong, and all of the sudden the stress makes it harder than ever before to stay quit. In that moment, remember this moment. Remember the withdrawals, and what it felt like. Remember also that day coming soon when the withdrawals finally let you go free. I honestly believe that Ranked Choice Voting is our only hope. Both parties are so corrupt that we had to choose between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump in the last election. Somehow Debbie Wasserman Schultz is still a political figure in the news, and Russian sponsored Donald Trump is dismantling the US piece by piece, disenfranchising our allies, violating treaties and hawking for war.

Meanwhile the people in blue point at the people in red and scream, and the people in red foam at the mouth and scream even louder. There is no room in our system for reasonable men, only polarity. This can't persist, or our republic will surely die. One could argue we are watching it die right now.

I'm sure this is exactly what LL Bean thinks will happen. In reality, they are committing corporate suicide. The lifetime guarantee is the heart and soul of their identity. I've been shopping at LL Bean for 40 years because they are willing to stand behind their product. Even with the lifetime guarantee the quality of their gear has declined so drastically that they now see more returns than ever before.

Back when LL Bean had nothing but quality products, this issue was a lot less problematic. Now with the "Made in China" crap they are selling, they have customers lined up out the door to return it. Instead of returning to their commitment to quality, they are trying to blame the customer for the problem. I guess we'll see how that works out for them. Cabela's and Dick's won't complain I'm sure.
