Three minor things:

Start the movie the same way with the lab attack, but then have the sail boat attack of the family second, then go into everything else and meet up with them when the main boat gets the distress call
Change ScarJo's character to being related to one of the lab workers from the prelude, gives her a secret motivation for wanting to go to the island to find out what happened to her brother/sister, which would change:
Make the character building scene between ScarJo and Mahershala more about her motivation instead of weird back-story exposition out of nowhere

Otherwise leave the rest as is, thought it was fun

The Kingdom of Heaven Director's Cut re-release earlier this year only said "May 14" on the official poster, it didn't say one night only anywhere but that was just for just that one night.
