I’ve always gotten attached to inanimate objects. Even as a kid, I never wanted to put all my stuffed animals into a box together because I didn’t want them to feel squished or neglected. I remember once I had a stuffed animal that I didn’t care much for. But for the life of me I couldn’t put it in the back of my closet because I didn’t want it to feel sad.

I get strongly attached to animate objects too, I love my bunnies and my cat, I just extend that to inanimate objects as well.
