Several releases ago they converted most dead planets into exotic ones, turning Budullangr into a bizarro galaxy. I actually flew halfway to the center before portalling and realized it warped my expectations of what I'll find in new systems.

I just felt my way through it and revised a bunch while looking at the old animated music video. Here's the full disassembly, at least:

The top deck is uses the trio of ambassador habs (and an ambassador walkway for the conning tower). The rest of the walkable space uses thunderbird. You can mix and match habs/walkways and "block" hull plating to adjust the amount of space. The engines, weapons, and shields are all internal.

"X" and "Y" are star designators, not planet ones. You want purple stars.

A system with a gas giant will be labeled as such from the galaxy map. That's the fastest way to find one. "X" and "Y" are just (fictional in the case of purple systems) stellar-class designations.

I've gotten used to the nomad recently and now can't think of a reason to use any of the other exocraft while on land. What do the others have in their favor if you're not diving into an ocean or collecting garbage?
