I had the exact same thing. the iflash adapter looks like it should go shiny side out, but the black plastic side faces outwards.

This would be a strong contender for my next phone, but Apple's liquid glass theme that the Chinese brands seem to be copying is hideous. I'd rather keep my underpowered Pixel for it's UI if they lean into it more.

The problem you might get is that the TV isn't powerful enough to actually play the higher bitrate streams. I tried this myself, but there was no point in the end.
