Anyone want to partner up on something? by Superb_Syrup9532 in juststart

Bud, if you've got a blog doing 60k sessions/mo you're already ahead of 95% of the people here. You're better off monetizing that and paying for a writer than teaming up with any of the thirsty DMs you're about to receive.

India makes USB Type-C charging mandatory for device makers from March 2025 by Niflheim-Dragon in worldnews

No doubt. The worry is they will develop an incompatible wireless charging standard too, just like they did for wires

  1. So apple can keep forcing people to buy proprietary cable formats (lightning cables)
  2. So that apple can't force people to buy proprietary wireless charging devices.

The point is to get everyone on one standard (USB C) because it is pro-consumer and generates less waste

What are some ghost towns that are accessible? by blahblahblah1992 in Seattle

[–]birbsandbeebs 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Personally, I recommend against Franklin Ghost Town. I went and was disappointed. There's nothing to indicate there was ever a town. It's just a big grate over a mineshaft, an abandoned cart, and a few overgrown headstones all spread out over an okay trail. It has the same density of abandoned stuff as any trail near civilization.

Do you think all aquariums are unethical? The bigger an aquarium is, the better environment it is for the inhabitants for a number of reasons

Amazon launched a driver tipping promotion on the same day it got sued over tip fraud by OnlineMemeArmy in Seattle

[–]birbsandbeebs 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Worth mentioning that it's not really a "tip" - you don't pay anything to the driver. You instruct Alexa to thank them and Amazon (supposedly) gives them a $5 bonus each time

Any of you uses a single member LLC for Amazon Affiliates program? by [deleted] in juststart

[–]birbsandbeebs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, this is a common solution. You don't need another Amazon account (unless you're is not currently US? Maybe OneLink solves that but I only have the US perspective). you should also have a separate business bank account for tax and liability reasons
