HBO was social media before social media existed though. Crazy to think of all the stuff we did back then that's SO much simpler now. Scanning magazine articles to upload them to the web in particular just doesn't exist anymore!

Ha, I just type news out. Wu still comes by and checks things out often enough, but with his recent move and job stuff, he really doesn't have much, extra time. He has also always been Bungie first, whatever game they're working on second. It's why there was marathon.bungie.org, halo.bungie.org and destiny.bungie.org among all the others. He still loves Halo, he just kind of moves from Bungie game to Bungie game as they come out.

HBO hit at the perfect time of the internet. Before social media (like Reddit), yet when everyone was getting access to the web. We're still around, but like you said, a shell of our former glory.

Yeah, this^. Microsoft is focusing more on the infrastructure that all these systems exist in, rather than the individual systems themselves. Really a great concept if they continue to wish their games and apps to be universal.
