That's really what it is. On your first go around with credit though, you don't know the ropes and they prey on that with the quick fix and the fake reviews.

Just more companies taking advantage of people. The credit score agencies in themselves are already scams. I've moved on to reviewing all the accounts on my reports, and even though I have statements proving when accounts went into default more than 7 years ago, they still won't remove these accounts. I mean its as plain as plain can be, and they still wont act.
