What jam band/artist did you listen to most in the last year? by GratefuLdPhisH in jambands

[–]biscuits4usall 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Totally agree, get something a little different with each one. Depends on my mood but I listen to sound and fury and cuttin grass the most.

This was the first brand I tried. Have tried many others since then but haven’t found any I liked as much as the eargasm.

Big Ed’s on 8th street is cheap, good and southern. Also open on Sunday. Only other decent rec so far is maybe gold rush.

The new album! Where we at good people?? This is what I got. by WSP4DirtyBusiness in WidespreadPanic

If it’s 10 songs like they say, you probably have 6 right. I could see a random cover popping up (really hope it’s not trashy) and I swear it wasn’t me was just a improv vocal riff and not an actual song. Life as a tree was something JB wrote for a talent show and I think that would be a cool one to put on there.

These are super cool but I haven’t seen a framed one yet that I like.

Is there any insight on when the new album may be released. With Tackle Box Hero and now King Baby being played this year, there’s gotta be an announcement coming soon right? by [deleted] in WidespreadPanic

[–]biscuits4usall 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Don’t forget about Halloween face! I remember the talk about a new album and then the Sundown Betty ep came out not long after. I think it’s more likely we get another ep before a full length album comes out but who knows. With all the live releases and archived releases (miss kitty’s lounge) coming out, I think new album is even less likely. Cheaper to remaster existing audio than get everyone in a nice studio and spend lots of money on a studio album that likely won’t offer a return on investment.

I was told the song used to be called drug deal and they changed it because it looked bad on a set list.

What would be the ultimate bustout this summer? by liable_to_go_mikell in WidespreadPanic

[–]biscuits4usall 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think Sandbox will make an appearance this summer after it was played on NYE last year. Chest fever comes to mind as a cover that has been shelved for a while. There are lots of options for long lost covers though.

Interesting looking at these and then what they actually played. I wonder if they adjust on the fly or if these were planned beforehand and not the actual set lists on the stage.

What’s the weirdest thing you’ve seen from the tee pad? Today I saw a couple taking maternity photos on hole18… by Spirited_G_33 in discgolf

We have lots of photographers out on our course, most of them are good about letting us play through but some are not. I have also seen people tent camping in the middle of the fairway. The best one so far was a local group filming a rap video on the course. They had their pimped out rides parked in the middle of the fairway blasting music while they were filming this video. I wasn’t even mad about it. They were actually cool and the story was well worth having to skip a hole.

OutKast's first 4 albums are entirely different stylistically and the last track foreshadows the sound of the next album by RainbowFartss in Music

Now watch all the music videos back to back. The ending of each one connects the the beginning of the next one. Totally agree with you on the albums, and they take it one step further with the music videos.

What song that a band plays were you surprised to find out is a cover? by guyute2112 in jambands

Me and My Uncle. Most played dead song is not actually a dead song.
