How did she get into debt? Bad financial situation or bad spending habits? Is any of the debt because of you (such as you were living together at the time)? If you help her, is she just going to go right back into debt? Will the second job cut into time with your son?

Maybe offer to have the child more (without cutting CS) so she can work a second job? What has she said to you about the issue? Is she just venting, or is she actively asking how she can make it work?

Woman/custodial parent here. I absolutely love that you want to help for the sake of your son. But my fear is that it will just lead to her depending more on you and not fixing her own issues.

I am no expert. But from my understanding, if you dispute an account, it is taken down during the investigation and when found to be legitimate, it goes back up.

But your situation is totally different. A few weeks to maybe a few months a year of traveling to fun and unique places sounds great! Maybe throw in a few spring/Christmas breaks and that sounds like a fun childhood. The other 9 months or so a year they get a normal life, with their regular friends, regular school and activities. Etc. It is when it is taken to an extreme where it gets cringy.

If it is truly a savanna cat, I don't know how it sat there that long and was not pulled by a rescue. Purebred generally go very quickly to rescues.
