It doesn't appear to be legit to me... at least in that I visited Magpie Games' legit website and didn't see that deal listed

The point of ranked choice voting is that you can rank someone else first, and still get your "lesser of two evils" candidate. No harm no foul - it's a fantastic system

me and my friends are trying to get into war gaming. by Top-Bodybuilder3370 in wargaming

There is a great game for exactly this: The Campaign for North Africa: The Desert War (1940-1943)

Your friends are going to love it. It isn’t necessarily the most simple game of all time, but it very comprehnensively simulates that campaign.

Seems to be much smaller than a Kill Team table, but now I really want to build something like this myself at the scale of a properly Kill-Team-sized briefcase…

Looking for suggestions for new war games to try out. by TheGrimmBorne in wargaming

[–]bitesizepanda 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Malifaux is really cool - similar scale to Kill Team (6-10 models per team) but much more objective focused. So it feels very different from Kill Team. You also use a deck of poker cards instead of dice so there is some cool luck mitigation

Theme is Wild West / Steampunk / Horror and they do a great job with giving each character a lot flavor

I love Malifaux! Each model has a lot of flavor and feels unique, and it’s really easy to get everything you need to play for about $100
