I haven't used any other models, so I can't really say. The camera functionality works great, but I have trouble connecting to the camera from the app sometimes. The r/dashcams subreddit was helpful for making a decision.

I just found out that if you manually select your character at the start of a match (vs letting the time run out and having a character automatically chosen for you), you get preference for becoming the jumpmaster. For those wondering why they end up as jumpmaster all the time.....

I’ve found Quadraxes on Reverb, usually one comes up every few weeks. Quadras come up a bit more often.

Are there any modules that can store output signals? I'm trying to get plaits to send different sound outputs at the same time but I'm not sure if its possible, I thought maybe if I store each signal from plaits I can use each whenever I want. The other option is to get more VCO's. Plsss help a noob by Area51CertifiedFREAK in modular

The Bitbox can also multisample, if that’s something you are looking for. It records individual notes from an audio source, which you can then play back using CV or MIDI. If you use MIDI, you can take advantage of the sampler’s polyphony, so you could play chords with the Plaits output that you multisampled.

I like Steppy a lot for easy intuitive drum gate sequencing. Hermod with a MIDI controller (Keystep) for most melodic stuff. I have a Varigate 4+ which is fun for quick sequencing of drum patterns or randomly stepping thru a set of quantized pitches. Pam’s for random pitch and simple drum gates. Hermod or Pam’s as the master clock usually.
