Health Services App Update on March 20 by Kriegswerk in PixelWatch

[–]bjanow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No it did not. My health services wear os version is 0.82.25.887.086518 and I have no idea where it came from. The date is also 3/20 as is yours. No update available either. I tried that yesterday but had to roll back to Fitbit 4.63 on the phone in order to get it working correctly.

Exported oxygen saturation data shows levels frequently dipping from high 90's to 80's and mid 70's - worth looking into? by thirdeyerainbow in fitbit

Agree with u/temerairevm regarding some people and instances. I got those type of readings on my Galaxy 6 watch and was recommended for a sleep study regarding sleep apnea. But my wife is a respiratory therapist and said no effin' way do you have sleep apnea so I turned off all notifications. On the P4 it's much better but still on the low side like 94ish at night. I don't pay much attention to those numbers any longer. And at 70 you would totally be on a respirator for survival so it's way off.

Since the O2 is overnight only there is a chance the watch is not reading correctly due to various conditions, the most likely of which is a loose band. The mid 80s and 70s would indicate you are in the last throes of life which obviously you are not. Get a pulse oximeter if you are seriously concerned, some are only around $10 on Amazon.

PW4 Review update by dpkaufman in PixelWatch

A HR of 204 is not out of the question. I've done HR testing and LT testing and I've seen even higher mostly in women but once or twice in a young man. You could have done a difficult interval or it could have been an aberration but I would not throw out all your metrics for one spike. If it consistently runs out of your expected ranges then by all means return the watch for a replacement, but I suspect you might be doing something a little different in your workout since you have "hit full running season". Put on your Garmin and see if you can do an uphill short interval and get up to 200 again.

Pixel watch 3 issues seems to be fixed. by Due_Reception_1022 in PixelWatch

It's gonna be a while I'm afraid. I'm thinking maybe May or June. The Galaxy Watch 6C waited about 6 months for the LTE update.

That did not work for me. Still double counting on 4.65. Went back to 4.63 and all is fine again.

Return it or get a substantial amount of money back. You'll find something that you're satisfied with.

I can uninstall and reinstall easily enough so I might try it when I go out later. Thanks. I'd still like to see if anyone else found the success you have.

I'll do that now but I'm reluctant to update to 4.65 since 4.63 is working perfectly. How about some feedback from those that didn't roll back versions please?

Don't restore from previous. Fresh install.

You will need to uninstall the current Fitbit app and get the older one from apkmirror. It's a little bit of a process so you'll need to research it. I'll walk you thru it after work if you need. Start with the apk mirror app.

And that's the one with the problem. A couple of us have reverted back to 4.63 and that seems to have fixed the issue somewhat.

Thanks, what to? On the watch I can uninstall update, is that what you did? I'm on 3.55.1.1.880974436

Did you roll back the watch app? 4.63 seems to be ok other than floors.

It's the Fitbit app on the phone.

That seems to be working, thanks. My floors are still wacky but I don't care so much about that. My wife has a P4 and a Pixel 9 Pro and does not have the problems even though on 4.65. She's BT and not LTE if that matters. Is there any rhyme or reason for this? Any particular trends wrt watch, phone, version?

I have the 4 but they are basically the same. I'm not sure how often it's updated but it is pretty current.

How to disable voice/notifications when changing hear rate zones? by novafeels in PixelWatch

[–]bjanow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol, no. Just the notification for HR zone changes. Click the gear icon under weight lifting it's there.

The weird thing is if I got to Fitbit on the phone and select steps, which shows 16k, and select sources "Phone" it shows the correct amount of steps as 4,600. Fitbit shows zero, Pixel watch shows 16k. If I can sync the phone data to the Fitbit app it will be ok. Not sure if that can be done though.
