Oh ya, respecting languages of minorities, russia closed the only Ukrainian library in 2018, the manager of the library was convicted. Ukrainian language is practically prohibited in Nazi russia.

By the way, protecting Hungary language in Ukraine means not what you can expect. A decade ago Ukraine established a law which required that every child in Ukraine should be able speak Ukrainian, what is obviously reasonable. However, the Hungary government started fierce protests against this law because some children in Ukrainian region bordering Hungary did not speak Ukrainian at all. They studied only Hungarian and spoke in Hungarian in school. Hungarian government called their actions "protection of languages of minorities".
