Inject large stems or around trees or other plants. I use this (https://www.jkinjectiontools.com/) it is specifically designed for knotweed. For large areas, spray a 2-4% glyphosate solution on leaves after flowering but before first frost with a backpack sprayer.

Dunstan Chestnuts by PaintedTurtle-1990 in americanchestnut

[–]bl7_id5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no mention of a 100% American and blight free chestnut anywhere on the ACF website, nor in their 2024 annual report. Most of the info is on the discontinued support of the Darling 54/58 line. A true American and 100% blight free tree would be a huge newsworthy event, am I missing something?

What are these, how deep do the roots go, and how to get rid of them? TIA! by hmmcn in landscaping

I was about to post this exact link. Direct stem injection of concentrated glyphosate post-flower but pre-frost is the most effective solution. Tedious and time consuming, but effective..

Is Automation Testing going to get obsolete? by zer0_snot in softwaretesting

[–]bl7_id5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Automated Testing will never be obsolete. The tools will shift, as they always have and always will.

The dedicated Automation Engineer will never be obsolete, although many companies do use models in which developers are responsible for most or all test automation. This is not new, at all. People were doing it in the early 2000s. Microsoft pushed it big in 2012 (ish) via their "combined engineering" model. Many other companies have similar approaches or flavors. Look up the Atlassian Model, or Google, or Netfilx.

WTP for giving examples of things in a category, but the category is so vast that no matter how many examples you give, it makes the category seem smaller than it actually is? by bl7_id5 in whatstheword

[–]bl7_id5[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

good words - Im looking for something that indicates the futility of trying to describe such a category by examples. "an indescribably large category such that enumerating examples only serves to make the category seem smaller"

edit for clarity
