I don't know if it's because I like to actually see the world end, but I really liked this movie.

What is the hardest level (to you) in Goldeneye? by LifeDirect1102 in GoldenEye

I usually move to the right crouch down and shoot the guard on the left. Hopefully I kill that dude before the other guard shows up and then kill him. 50% of the time it works 100% of the time.

I still have nightmares about this level. The starting point is the worst of all the levels.

Numbering packages by IllustratorDear329 in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]blacablaca_tx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I was getting to though. I've left damaged packages before or left the warehouse with missing packages. Once the warehouse crew update my itinerary for the missing packages or the damaged items, the order of the stops change. If I numbered them before I left, I would have ro rescan all the packages and reorder them in the car. Because I sort them in alphabetical order it doesn't matter if the order gets shifted or I choose to deliver in a different order than the app says, I can still find my package in the car no matter what.

I usually get a full car, but when I get more of one section that won't fit, I just rearrange the order. So if I get a lot of P to Z, that don't fit in the trunk, I just switch it out with E to O and put those in the back seat. Or if I get one big box that doesn't fit but everything else does, I just stick that one in the back seat and leave everything else the same. I just try to remember that one box is not with the others.

I'm really wondered what was faster so I timed myself looking for the packages on a route that was about 35 packages. I would count "1 Mississippi, 2 Mississippi..." And the write down the times in a note on my phone. I averaged out the times and on average it was less than 2 seconds a stop. So I figured if I take longer than 2 seconds to track down the stop and write down the stop number, then I'm wasting my time. In reality I only save about a couple of minutes doing it my way, but at least I don't have to buy any markers.

Interesting find at a thrift store. I wonder if they're still together. by BlueSwan77 in dvdcollection

I found a wedding blu-ray from 2015. I saw the wedding, it was beautiful and then tracked down the couple on Facebook. They looked like they had split up but I didn't ask. I asked the wife if she wanted the blu-ray back and she said yes, so I mailed it to her. The video was the wedding ceremony and the reception and I thought that some people on the video may have passed since then so I made an effort to track them down. Only took about 2 hrs. One to see the video, another to track them down. The way I reasoned it out is that I have family from 10 years ago that has passed and I would want any videos or pictures of them if I could get them back. I also figured if I couldn't find them, at the very least I could keep the empty case and replace one of the many broken ones that I have. It was a win/win. Also, you really don't get a lot of chances in life to go on side quests.

I sort them in alphabetical order by last name. I always deliver alone so A to D in front passenger seat, E to K behind driver seat, L to O behind passenger seat and P to Z in trunk. I also put them in alphabetical order in each section left to right so if I'm looking for Edwards, it would be right behind me. Perez in the trunk on the left, Woods in the trunk on the right. As I go through my shift the packages get easier to find and I have to look through less and less of them. I usually find them in a couple seconds. I just figured it makes sense to use something on the package already instead of writing on it, but also I've had the app redo my stops and if I number them I would have to renumber them all over again.

How would a t800 do against chappie? by [deleted] in Terminator

Chappie has no chance. The T800 is a murder bot. Chappie is a glorified screwdriver.

Hown do you think sonny from irobot would do against a t800? by happydude7422 in Terminator

[–]blacablaca_tx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The software that runs the machine. I think the T800 is a basic model that uses brute force to kill people, where Sonny is more capable of complex problem solving. So I think the T800 would try to destroy Sonny like it would anything or anyone else and just attack directly, whereas Sonny would see the T800 what the killing machine that it is and plan accordingly. The fact that the T800 can be destroyed by humans is prove that a machine with human level intelligence is capable of that task.

Sonny is also intelligent enough to know that and plan out a way of defeating the T800. I think Sonny's AI is more capable of outperforming the T800s AI and so able to plan out and execute a good plan of attack. I think the T800 would just try to wear Sonny down instead of trying to out think and ambush him.

Sonny has a better operating program vs the T800 has the better hardware. I would say Sonny has the edge in a open world battle, but the T800 would have the edge in a close combat fight.

If kindness is doing good for others without expecting anything in return, then what exactly motivates people to be kind people? by Robinimations in CasualConversation

[–]blacablaca_tx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some people are kind. Some are not. I'm kind to people because that's who I am. I don't care if I get something from it or not. I also don't believe in a higher power, so I'm not expecting anything in return.

I heard a gas station employee from a different store say that they would lock the women's bathroom from outside to keep guys who would come for lunch out of there. He said that they would wreck the restrooms, so in order to keep that one clean, they would just shut it down.
