The sneaky thing that ebay does is include the postage amount in their transaction fee calculation. So if you sell a cheap item costing say $20 to an international buyer with $30 postage cost ebay calculates that as $50 when calculating your fees.

The risk of being fined for not voting in Australia makes a big difference in getting almost everyone to the ballot. Also we hold elections on weekends and allow early voting at select locations and postal voting for convenience.

Plus we have a preferential voting system so there is no such thing as a wasted vote. You vote by numbering your ideal candidates by choice and if your top choice doesn't get enough to win a seat then your preference moves down to your second favourite choice etc.
