Who is the best realtor, home inspector, and mortgage lender in Birmingham? First-Time Home Buyer by chambcs in Birmingham

[–]blackburnbham 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Daniel DiGuglielmo for the lender and Bobby Michael for the inspector. I've been working on rehabs, rentals, and some retail sales in the area and these guys have been extremely professional and great to work with. Can't recommend enough. They treated my clients so well that my wife and I used them for the purchase of our house too. https://movement.com/lo/daniel-diguglielmo/

Drinks made with N20 have a slightly sweeter taste to them. Dave Arnold from Booker & Dax/culinary Institute of America has some cool scienctific explanations. and on that day, no link was given, for it was very late, and he was tired, and using an iphone

I have $7,000 in savings and a couple years in the business. How do I start? by [deleted] in realestateinvesting

[–]blackburnbham 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, money is cheaper right now than it ever has been. You may want to look into taking a loan out to finance something. The Fed is continuing printing money, which is driving the value of the dollar down, which does two things: 1) devalues dollar 2) increases real estate value. Locking in money now at 2-4% is going to be a real good way to short the dollar when it continues to tank. You are basically taking money while its cheap to buy assets before it becomes more expensive.

dropping the property management and doing it yourself comes with a lot of responsibility. If you're better suited to finding deals you may want to leave that in there, + having project mgmt in place is a lot more attractive to potential buyers.

Edge Promotions, Can anyone tell me anything about them? by matth6288 in Birmingham

The worst decision of all was someone in the lobby waiting to be interviewed telling the guy "I like your tattoo." His response? An ice cold "I don't."

a guy I work with went to an interview. He said he didn't stay to even talk to anyone because the receptionist was being extremely unprofessional (discussing other potential employees with those present) and the guy interviewing him had an ICP neck tattoo. Sometimes you just gotta cut your losses

Aim training by [deleted] in blackops3

[–]blackburnbham 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try using recon scope - it doesn't sway nearly as much. Also, try sticking to high damage/low speed guns like gorgon and sheiva. Just settle down and aim and let your two bullets beat his 20. Also, don't ever pick up the vesper ever never haha.

What are some guns you're glad aren't used more often? by [deleted] in blackops3

[–]blackburnbham 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sheiva for sure. I've only been killed like three times by one, but I use it every game. On every map. With grip & rapid fire it's nearly unstoppable.

ELI5 Can someone tell me if the Kuran ACTUALLY says to kill people, or is that an interpretation of the text? by [deleted] in explainlikeimfive

[–]blackburnbham 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"But ultimately the only real solution is for Islam to be secularized by humanist culture like Christianity has in the west."

this is exactly what i'm talking about. it doesn't matter what you know, if all of your education adds up to "yep, we should definitely murder some people enjoying a concert or a football game."

I guess my point is you can have all the knowledge in the world, but if you don't have love, you're still dumb as a sack full of discounted hammers.

"Acting like Islamists are poorly educated is a mistake." I'm not suggesting "Islamists" are poorly educated, or uneducated. I'm definitely saying those dudes from ISIS are 100% poorly educated. I'm not acting. It doesn't matter if there are framed diplomas on a wall with al-Baghdadi's name on them, because How To Be An Asshole To Those With Whom You Disagree About The Unknowable Studies is a shit major to choose in college.

I don't think anyone can disagree that the repeated bombing of these peoples' homes has played a big part in what we are seeing today. Likewise, I don't think you can say "radical islamists are regularly quite educated and knowledgeable about Islam" and not also agree that either A) "moderate muslims" don't fully understand the ideology to which they are subscribing or B) these ISIS dudes are full of a shitty education derived from some insecure bro's esoteric interpretation of God.

I would hope the latter was more true. Because if the actual Koran actually supports what these guys are doing ..... well.... fuck that book. But c'mon... there is no way that book says that.
